The school holidays have been a fantastic time for resting, sleeping in, hanging out with friends, watching TV, playing games and doing many enjoyable and relaxing activities!
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and we're back in school this week.
For some of us, it can be hard to go back to the routine of school life after a long break. Look on the bright side, you are now well-rested and energised for the new term or school year! And there are plenty of enjoyable school activities lined up for you.
Here are some things you can do to ensure you are in top shape for school this term, both physically and mentally!
Over the holidays, you've probably gone to bed well after midnight and gotten up late.
Start turning in and waking up earlier to gradually get accustomed to the school morning routine. If you have not started, do so tonight! And do remember to eat a healthy breakfast when you wake up to start your day on the right note!

What you are going to learn in school this term is probably going to be built upon what you have learnt before.
To stay on top of classes, spend some time revising the topics you have learnt the last term, no matter how amazing your test scores were.
By staying organised with colour-coded notes and refreshing your knowledge of previous topics, you will be able to integrate new concepts easily, as well as absorb and understand them faster!
It's best to avoid looking like this when your teacher is teaching something new in class right?

Since it is the first week of the term and you are just trying to ease back into the school routine, your teacher probably will not assign you too much homework.
Why not make the most of your free time during this first week and do something fun out of your room this weekend, away from your computer/tablet/gaming console?
Even if it is just staying indoors, there are plenty of things you can do with your friends or family!
