If you wheeze often, consult your regular doctor.</li><li>Take plenty of warm fluids.</li><li>Try to identify substances that start your attacks and prevent them (e.g. fur from pets, dusts, smoke and
<a href="https://www.healthhub.sg/live-healthy/450/environmentaltobaccosmoke" title="Environmental Tobacco Smoke">polluted air</a>).</li><li>Many patients with asthma will develop wheezing in response to an infection. Consult your doctor early if you have flu or fever.</li><li>Call your doctor quickly if:</li><ul><li>breathing difficulty occurs or worsens</li><li>there is difficulty talking</li><li>sweatiness, restlessness occurs</li><li>lips or skin turn blue</li><li>cough, fever, or chest pain occurs</li></ul></ul>
