Your little one weighs as much as a coconut
By Dr Tan Shu Qi, Consultant and Associate Professor Tan Thiam Chye, Visiting Consultant, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, KK Women's and Children's Hospital
Your baby now weighs between 1.35 and 1.65kg — that's about the weight of a coconut! Your baby's brain cells are working overtime as nerves are connecting and information is being processed. If you're having a boy, his testicles are moving through his groin towards his scrotum.

It's important to keep track of your baby's movements. Leg cramps are common around this time so try sleeping on your side with a pillow between your legs and under your bump. Feeling short of breath? You can blame your big bump as the pressure on your organs increases and your lungs struggle to fully expand. Hang in there mummy — as you get nearer to your delivery date, your bump will drop and relieve some of this pressure. If you find that your breasts are already leaking, get a nursing bra with some nursing pads. It's fine to stock up because once your milk comes in after birth, you will be requiring a stash of these!
