Nonya Tomato Fish

Ingredients

WHAT YOU NEED
 

Fish fillet
300 g

Seasoning

Tomatoes, cut into quarters
2 big

Tomato ketchup *
3 tbsp

Cucumber, cut into quarters
1 small

Brown sugar
1 tbsp

Garlic, minced
1 tsp

Lime or lemon juice, freshly squeezed
150 ml

Ginger
1 tsp, minced

Water
100 ml

Oil *
1 tbsp

Corn flour
1 tbsp

Marinade
 

Light soy sauce *
1 tbsp

Corn flour
1 tbsp

Pepper
A dash

Cooking Instructions

  1. Mix fish fillet with marinade and keep aside.
  2. Mix seasoning together and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in wok. Pan-fry fish until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Add tomatoes, cucumbers and seasoning mixture.
  5. Simmer until sauce thickens. Serve.
