Learn how to prepare our Vegetable Pancake With Cheese!
Round cabbage, shredded½ small
Carrot, shredded1 small
Whole-wheat flour/wholemeal flour120 g
Low-fat cheese*, shredded4 slices
Baking powder½ tsp
Oil *2 tbsp
Low-fat milk *200 ml
* Choose products with the Healthier Choice Symbol (HCS)
Mix the ingredients for the pancake mixture until smooth and keep aside.
Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Add in shredded cabbage, carrot and cheese.
Pour pancake mixture onto the pan. Pan-fry until both sides are golden brown. Serve hot.
Allow your child to experience the goodness of wholegrains by incorporating wholegrain products (eg. wholewheat flour, wholemeal flour) into the pancake.
