HPB will be gradually resuming Active Ageing Programmes for seniors in the community from 29 November 2021 onwards. In view of the evolving COVID-19 situation, and with the community’s health as our priority, appropriate measures are taken for the wellbeing of our participants.

Please note that:

  • Sessions are for fully vaccinated individuals participants only.

  • For all mask-off activities (e.g. physical activity sessions), participants are required to do an Antigen Rapid Test (ART) test within the last 24 hours and produce a verifiable negative result in order to participate. Participants will also be required to show a photograph of his/her result on his/her mobile phone to on-site staff before participation.

  • Individuals will not be able to participate in sessions if they:

    1. Have a fever or flu-like symptoms; or

    2. Are currently under a Stay-Home Notice or Isolation Order

With effect from 1 September 2021, Community Physical Activity Programme
has been renamed to "Move It, Feel Strong"

Join our weekly, fun-filled exercise sessions regularly to give your energy levels a boost!

You will also learn simple strength, balance and flexibility exercises during all our exercise sessions, no matter which workout you’re doing. These exercises will help you:

Grow stronger
Have less joint pain
and stiffness
Reduce your risk
of falls
Reach for things on
your shelves more easily

Aim to do strength and balance exercises at least twice a week. In addition, do 30 minutes of physical activity daily to maintain good health.

Now staying active is easier than ever before. Simply join our virtual sessions from anywhere to get your dose of regular exercise.

  • Identify the sessions you are interested in and register right way! Only 100 slots are available per session, first-come-first served.
  • All sessions will be conducted on Zoom. In case you’re not sure how to install or use Zoom, don’t worry - this IMDA Zoom Starter Kit will help you get started.
  • Once you’ve registered for a session, you’ll receive a Zoom link through your email or contact number. Simply click on the link to join the session.
  • Do note that pre-registration is compulsory, as only registered participants will be allowed entry to the exercise sessions.

Bring back the kampung spirit and recall the fond memories of catching spiders, and playing five-stones and masak-masak with your friends. Our 2-hour workshops emphasise the importance of stimulating your mind and having a strong social network for support, just like during the kampung days.
