Jointly offered by the Health Promotion Board and People’s Association, the Live Well, Age Well programme features a wide range of exciting activities right in your neighbourhood.

These activities for adults aged 50 and above empower them to continue doing what they love, and help them improve and maintain their physical, mental and social health.

The Live Well, Age Well programmes will be gradually rolled out to all Community Clubs/Centres (CCs) nationwide. Selected programmes are also available at other locations within the community, including Residents’ Committees (RC)/Residents’ Network (RN) Centres, Senior Activity Centres and more.

Turn up the fun with physical activity. Get energised through regular exercise and reduce your risk of falls, joint pain and stiffness through strength, balance and flexibility exercises. Leap towards an active lifestyle today!

Move towards a stronger you.

Join weekly exercise sessions in your neighbourhood, from Zumba Gold to KpopX Lite. Exercise regularly with your kakis to feel more energetic and get your move on!

Always ready, always steady.

Falls can be prevented, and with the right techniques, injuries from them can be minimised as well. Join this twice-a-week programme lasting 6 weeks to learn about common fall risks, ways to avoid falls and what to do if you fall.

Suitable for those who:

  • Were not admitted to hospital due to a fall in the past 6 months

  • Have never been diagnosed with osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones)

  • Do not have a heart condition or experience chest pains

  • Pass a suitability assessment during the first session

With 3 simple checks, you can ensure that your eyes, ears and mouth are in good health. Project Silver Screen is a nationwide functional screening programme for Singaporeans who are 60 years old and above.

Make regular screening a part of your healthy lifestyle.

The best time to screen is when you still feel fine. With subsidies, eligible Singaporeans pay no more than $5* for health screening tests and follow-ups at Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) General Practitioner (GP) clinics.

*Fees cover costs of tests, doctor’s consultation for your visit, and first follow-up consultations, if required.
