The National Steps ChallengeTM Season 5 is here! In our most feel-good season ever, we want YOU to feel the amazing effects of moving more with new programme features and activities. So, start moving and see how easy it is to feel good with every move.
ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

WHO CAN JOIN
  • All members of public with a valid NRIC / FIN number
  • At least 17 years old and above (based on birth year) at the point of registration
  • Please note that we’ll be closed during the upcoming Lunar New Year period. Our Customer Care Centres will be closed from 25 to 26 Jan 2020, while our appointment-based collection points will be closed from 24 to 27 Jan 2020.
  • Congratulations to the lucky draw winners of Huat’s Your Move @ Jurong Bird Park! Click here for the list of winners.
  • Silver Challenge participants who have not collected their limited edition tracker strap at the National Steps ChallengeTM roadshows may now collect the strap by 29 Feb. Please check your eligibility here. T&Cs apply.
  • Make your appointment via the Healthy 365 mobile app to collect your fitness tracker and/or Pokémon-themed collectible kit. T&Cs apply. Refer to this step-by-step guide for help.
  • Find out how to pair your new fitness tracker with this step-by-step guide if you have yet to.
  • Non-compatible smartphone users are encouraged to start using the “Sync for Friends” function and set up auto-redemption of Healthpoints as the Healthy 365 Kiosks will cease operations from 1 Sep 2020. Refer to this step-by-step guide for help.

How to sign up this season
Sign up for the National Steps ChallengeTM Season 5 under the “Challenges” tab.

Need a refresher on the different levels of intensity for physical activity and steps?
Singaporeans/Permanent Residents above the age of 17 (based on birth year), who have signed up for Season 5 and have not received a heart-rate monitoring fitness tracker during Season 4, are eligible. Available on first come, first served, while stocks last basis.

i. If you are unable to collect your heart-rate monitoring fitness tracker in person, you may authorise someone to collect on your behalf by providing a softcopy or photocopy of your NRIC for verification during collection.

ii. Each person can collect a maximum of 3 fitness trackers (including their own).
Members of the public are encouraged to check HPB's Facebook page for updates before heading down to our roadshows. Please note that in view of overwhelming responses, queues may be suspended prior to the end of the roadshow if the waiting time exceeds the operating hours.

HOW TO JOIN

STEP 1
Register for the Huat’s Your Move Challenge on the Healthy 365 mobile app. Registration starts from 23 Dec 2019.
 
STEP 2
Bring a valid NRIC or FIN for on-site check-in. Eligible participants will receive game card and the entrance ticket upon successful check-in.
 
 
STEP 3
Explore Jurong Bird Park and complete the check-points. Each completed Game Station and Bonus Checkpoint gives you 1 stamp.
 
STEP 4
Submit your completed game card at the Prize Redemption counter to redeem your prize and stand to qualify for the Lucky Draw!
How to win
The more Games Stations and Bonus Checkpoints you complete, the higher your prize tier! Participants who make it to Prize Tier 3 will be eligible for the lucky draw held at the Lakeview Ballroom in Jurong Bird Park, happening at 1.00pm and 4.30pm during the challenge. Aim for the Bonus Checkpoints for even more rewards!

Walk on stilts to burn calories consumed! Roll the snacks dice to find out how many laps you need to walk and get 1 stamp after finishing your laps.
 
Wealth Catcher
Partner up and catch as many inflatable golden ingots as you can, using a fortune pouch tied around your waist! Get 1 stamp for your efforts.
 
Golden Egg Guardian
Walk with "golden eggs" between your legs and escort them back home! Get 1 stamp after completing the game.

Make a tree bloom by tossing rings onto it while you try to keep your balance! Get 1 stamp after completing the game.

Start clocking 10,000 steps and 150 minutes of MVPA with your heart-rate monitoring fitness tracker.
Step 3


Use the “Sync for friends” function on the Healthy 365 mobile app to update your fitness records using your friend’s smartphone.

Alternatively, you can update your records at any Healthy 365 Kiosks.
