Say no to FOMO! Gather your friends and participate in National Steps Challenge™ Season 4 Youth Challenge and get exclusive information and access to fun, exciting activities such as themed hunts to win even more prizes! Steps Tracker

Free heart-rate monitoring fitness tracker

Look out for the Glow Roadshows at your campus to collect your free fitness tracker. Each participant will be eligible for one free heart-rate monitoring fitness tracker which is available on a first-come-first-served, while stocks last basis.

COLLECTION ON BEHALF OF FRIENDS
Don’t worry if you are unable to collect the HPB fitness tracker personally at our Glow Roadshows as you can authorise your friend from the same institution to collect on your behalf after you have successfully registered for National Steps Challenge™ Season 4 Youth Challenge!

The authorised person must produce the original or photocopy of your NRIC and student matriculation card for verification of eligibility during collection. Each authorised person can only collect up to 3 HPB trackers (including his/her own tracker).

Collection of tracker on behalf is strictly for participants studying in the same institution only.

The life of a student is never easy, so take a break and bond with your friends over fun activity hunts! Crack the clues, solve the tasks and search for the hidden prizes on campus.

Come to our activity hunt booths located around your campus to register for the hunt and be rewarded with more Healthpoints! Stand to get bonus clues when you bring along a buddy!

Who says clocking steps is only for the adults? Youths can clock steps and incorporate MVPA in many exciting ways too! Join in the year-end festivities at the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2019! Drop by St Andrew’s Road (opposite National Gallery Singapore) for an evening of fun filled activities such as Bubble Soccer, Archery and more!

Party the night away to dance workouts such as K-Kardio, Zumba and more while basking in the merriment of fireworks! These activities are FREE for all to enjoy, so come on down with your friends!

Create your profile, or restore your profile if you already have one.

Step 3:

Select “Challenges” on the Menu bar to sign up for Youth Challenge.

Step 4:

Find your school’s unique 6-digit entry code below.

 

Step 5:

Select “Apps” on the Menu bar and choose your preferred fitness tracking device to pair with the Healthy 365 mobile app. Use the FREE HPB fitness tracker* or one of these compatible1 mobile apps and fitness trackers.

National Steps Challenge™ preferred6 mobile apps and trackers:

  • Actxa® mobile app (Heart-rate syncing coming soon)

  • Garmin Connect™ mobile app

  • Polar Flow mobile app 

Other mobile apps and trackers:

  • Healthkit mobile app with Apple Watch

  • Samsung Health mobile app with Samsung wearables

  • Fitbit mobile app with any Fitbit tracker

For participants who are using one of the compatible mobile apps and fitness trackers, your device needs to be able to track heart rate data in order to contribute towards the MVPA category.

Step 6:

Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activities every week and 10,000 steps every day. Sync your HPB fitness tracker* with the Healthy 365 mobile app at least once every 7 days to avoid losing your fitness records.

HPB fitness trackers are continuously recording your heart rate, as long as it is charged. If you wish to view your heart rate at real-time, you can tap on the heart rate symbol on your tracker.

*Only Singaporeans/Permanent Residents who have signed up for National Steps Challenge™ Season 4 (including returning participants from past seasons) are eligible for the free HPB fitness trackers, available on a first-come-first-served, while stocks last basis. The Youth Challenge starts on 27 October 2018 and ends on 30 April 2019. Participants must be a current student from the participating Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and at least 17 years old at the time of signing up. All Youth Challenge participants will also be automatically signed up for the National Steps Challenge™ Season 4. Other terms and conditions apply. For full details, please visit stepschallenge.sg.

Please complete the health declaration on the Healthy 365 mobile app and ensure you are in good fitness condition before attempting MVPA. If you have an existing heart condition or any other illness and/or injury, please consult a doctor prior to your participation.

Please go through the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) before embarking on the Challenge.
