WALK FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Thank you for participating in the Community Challenge 2017. Every step you took has contributed to more donations, and together we have raised $143,000 for the President's Challenge 2018! Please click here for the list of beneficiaries of President's Challenge 2018. As a symbolic handover, a mock cheque will be presented to our President during our Community Challenge 2017 Finale at Sentosa Palawan Green on Saturday, 28 April 2018 at 5.30pm. Come down and join us at this ceremony!

Check out how much we have raised so far!

Total amount of donations* (as of 31 Mar 2018)$143,000
*Based on the daily average step count of all 89 constituency divisions for March 2018.

There are 2 ways to join the Challenge.
1) Join individually as part of the constituency division.
2) Join as a team if you are a member of any participating RO, Grassroots, VWO or HPB IGs.

All ROs, Grassroots, VWOs and HPB IGs will contribute towards the constituency division that they fall under. You will only be able to join the Community Challenge under one of the five entities2.

CHALLENGE PERIOD

CHALLENGE PERIOD

26 November 2017 to 31 March 2018

HOW THIS WORKS

HOW THIS WORKS

Every step you take goes towards increasing your constituency division’s daily average step count3. On top of the overall4 daily average step count at the end of the challenge period, your constituency division will also have a monthly daily average step count5.

The total donation amount for each constituency division will be computed based on:
1) The month5 with the highest daily average step count, and
2) The overall4 daily average step count at the end of the Challenge.

HOW TO CONVERT STEPS INTO DONATIONS
Daily average step count3Donations
Based on the month5 with the highest daily average step count5,000 - 7,499$500
7,500 - 9,999$750
≥ 10,000$1,000
Based on overall4 daily average step count at the end of the Challenge5,000 - 7,499$500
7,500 - 9,999$750
≥ 10,000$1,000

So using Constituency X as an example:

Monthly Daily Average Step Count
The daily average step count for Constituency X in Dec, Jan, Feb and Mar are 5,000, 10,000, 8,000 and 7,500 respectively. The month with the highest daily average step count is Jan, and Constituency X would have raised $1,000, based on the conversion in the table above.

Overall Daily Average
The overall daily average step count for Constituency X at the end of the Challenge is 7,500, which would have raised $750 in donations.

Hence, the total donation amount for Constituency X = $1,000 + $750 = $1,750
