CLOCK STEPS FOR YOUR GRC

Rally your family and friends in the neighbourhood to compete across 16 Group Representation Constituencies (GRCs) and be rewarded as the winner of the overall and monthly steps leaderboard! Keep your kampong spirit going and step up to the challenge to win in this season’s Community Challenge!

Open to all National Steps Challenge Season 4 participants

All 16 GRCs in Singapore are included in the Community Challenge. Each of the 13 Single Member Constituencies (SMCs) will be grouped together with one of the 16 GRCs, for the purpose of the Challenge. Find out which GRC you will be representing for the Community Challenge here.

HOW TO WIN

Every step you take contributes to your GRC’s daily average step count1.

Overall Top Performing GRC
Get rewarded when your GRC clinches the top2 spot with the highest overall daily average step count1.

  • Participants who have achieved an overall daily average of 10,000 steps and more will be rewarded with $10 worth of Healthpoints3.
  • Participants who have achieved an overall daily average of less than 10,000 steps4 will be rewarded with $5 worth of Healthpoints3.

The higher your step count, the greater the rewards you will get when your GRC wins!

1 Daily average step count = total number of steps accumulated by all participants in the GRC/summation of total number of days in challenge for all participants in the GRC.

2 The Overall Top Performing GRC is the winning GRC that clocks in the highest overall daily average step count from the start to the end of the Challenge, i.e. from 26 November 2018 – 31 March 2019.

3 Healthpoints will be credited to eligible participants from the winning GRC within 2 months from the end of the Challenge, i.e. by 31 May 2019.

4 Only current participants from the winning GRC who are still active in the Challenge at the end of the challenge period will be eligible for the rewards. To qualify as a current participant, participants must have minimally clocked 1,000 steps on any given day in the last 4 weeks of the Challenge.

Lucky Draw

Lucky Draw for Participants in Top 2 GRCs Of The Month

The Top 2 GRCs every month will stand to win in the Community Challenge Monthly Lucky Draw, with a total of 250 prizes to be given away to each GRC!

All participants from the top 2 GRCs of the month with a daily average of 10,000 steps or more will automatically qualify for the Community Challenge Monthly Lucky Draw5.

5 The qualifying periods for the Community Challenge Monthly Lucky Draw are: (a) 1 – 31 December 2018; (b) 1 – 31 January 2019; (c) 1 – 28 February 2019; (d) 1 – 31 March 2019. Each GRC can only qualify for this Community Challenge Monthly Lucky Draw once. Limited to 250 prizes to be given out per GRC, or based on the number of eligible participants with a daily average of at least 10,000 steps in that month, whichever lower.

STEP 1:

Download or update to the latest version of the Healthy 365 mobile app.

Create your profile, or restore your profile if you already have one. Make sure you fill in your postal code correctly, as you will be automatically filtered into your GRC based on the postal code entered in your profile.

Select “Challenges” on the menu bar to sign up for Community Challenge.

Select “Apps” on the menu bar and choose your preferred fitness tracking device to pair with the Healthy 365 mobile app. Use the free HPB fitness tracker* or one of these compatible mobile apps and fitness trackers.

Step 5: Smartphone

STEP 5:

Aim for 10,000 steps every day. The more steps you take, the higher your GRC’s step count to emerge as the top performing GRC of Community Challenge!

* Only Singaporeans/Permanent Residents who have signed up for Community Challenge (including returning participants from past seasons) are eligible for the free HPB fitness trackers, available on a first-come-first-served, while stocks last basis. Community Challenge starts on 26 November 2018 and ends on 31 March 2019. Participants must be at least 17 years old at the time of signing up. All Community Challenge participants will also be automatically signed up for the National Steps Challenge Season 4. Other terms and conditions apply.

For participants who do not have a smartphone compatible with the Healthy 365 mobile app, sign up and get your FREE HPB fitness tracker* at any National Steps Challenge roadshow near you.

STEP 2:

Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activities every week when you take part in the National Steps Challenge Season 4 for more sure-win rewards for yourself!

Update your fitness activity records at any Healthy 365 kiosk from 1 November 2018 onwards.

Alternatively, you can use the “Sync For Friends” function on the Healthy 365 mobile app using your friend’s smartphone. Find out how here.

Remember to sync your fitness tracker with the Healthy 365 mobile app at least once every 7 days to avoid losing your fitness records.

Please read the collection eligibility carefully before heading down to a collection site. Certain sites might only cater to new participants. Returning participants and Completers are advised to only proceed to the respective collection sites which are clearly indicated as for “Returning participants” or “Completers”.

For sites where an appointment is required, please ensure that you proceed to the collection site on the pre-booked date and time only. Walk-ins at these sites will not be entertained.
