Use your rectal suppositories the right way

Suppositories are NOT to be taken orally. They are for rectal use only.

1
Wash your hands with soap and water before using the suppository.

2Remove the wrapper from the suppository.
3Moisten the suppository with water or use a lubricant to lubricate the suppository tip and rectum.
4Lie down on your side, with one knee bend up towards your chest. Insert the suppository, tapered end first into the anus. Push well up into the rectum with finger.
5Wash your hands with soap and water after each insertion.
6Lie down for about 15 minutes. This helps the anus to retain the suppository so that the medication can work better.

Store this medicine correctly.

Store suppositories in the refrigerator.

Do not keep different types of medicines together in one container. Keep each medicine separately in its original labelled container.

Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.

Do not keep expired medicines or medicines that are no longer needed.
